JDBF promotes interdisciplinary studies exploring the digital transformation of financial institutions, markets, and services through technological innovation, sustainable development, and inclusive growth.
The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles, conceptual papers, and case studies focusing on, but not limited to, the following core areas:
1. Digital Banking & FinTech Transformation: Digital transformation strategies of conventional and Islamic banks, neobanks, open banking, peer-to-peer (P2P) lending, payment gateways, and cybersecurity in financial services.
2. Islamic Digital Finance: Integration of financial technology with Islamic commercial and social finance, including digital ZISWAF, Sharia-compliant crowdfunding, and asset tokenization.
3. Consumer Behavior & Financial Inclusion: Analysis of customer adoption, digital financial literacy, and user experience across both conventional and Islamic digital financial platforms.
4. Risk Management, Regulation, & Policy: Central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), regulatory technology (RegTech), IT risk management, and governance in digital finance.
