Focus & Scope
Journal of Digital Banking and Finance (JDBF) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and research in digital banking and finance. It serves as a platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry professionals to disseminate high-quality theoretical, empirical, and applied research that contributes to the development of a modern banking and digital finance ecosystem.
The journal welcomes original research articles, review papers, case studies, and conceptual papers in, the following areas:
First theme: Islamic finance, encompasses studies focusing on Islamic financial systems and practices. This area is further divided into two subfields: Islamic monetary and Islamic microfinance. The Islamic monetary subfield includes topics such as the Islamic monetary system and sharia-compliant capital markets. Meanwhile, the Islamic microfinance subfield covers studies related to sharia-based microfinance institutions and their various operational aspects.
Second thme: Islamic banking, covers all research related to Islamic banking management, marketing, accounting, products, and systems. Topics within this theme may include, but are not limited to, the role of Islamic banks in macroeconomic development, bank funding mechanisms, Islamic banking products, information technology systems, e-money applications, and entrepreneurial programs initiated by Islamic banks.
