Etika dan Epistemologi Deep Learning dalam Pendidikan Islam

The concept of deep learning in the Independent Curriculum emphasizes meaningful, reflective, and student-centered learning. However, this approach is still minimally studied from the perspective of Islamic ethics and epistemology. This research aims to reconstruct the meaning of deep learning by linking it to the concepts of tafaqqur (rational contemplation) and tazakkur (spiritual contemplation) as the foundation of deep learning in Islamic Education. By adopting a qualitative approach based on literature studies, with content analysis, hermeneutic approaches, and Islamic philosophical literature. The results of the study show that deep learning from an Islamic perspective is not just a cognitive process, but an epistemological ethical journey that leads students to understand the meaning of knowledge as a path to truth and faith. The ethics of learning in this context demands a balance between freedom of thought and moral responsibility, while Islamic epistemology views true knowledge as the integration of reason, heart, and revelation. Thus, in-depth learning in the Independent Curriculum can be Islamized into a process of tafaqquh and tazakkur that forms knowledgeable, moral, and civilized people.
