Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of elementary school teachers in facing obstacles in implementing the deep learning approach to life skill learning. The deep learning approach has the potential to improve the quality of life skill learning by providing a more interactive and deep understanding-based learning experience. However, the implementation of this approach in primary schools faces various challenges, such as a lack of training for teachers, as well as resistance to changes in traditional learning methods. Through a descriptive qualitative method, this study examines the obstacles faced by teachers in using deep learning and how they can overcome them. The results of the study show that teachers play a key role in adapting and integrating technology in the learning process. However, the success of the implementation of deep learning is highly dependent on the readiness of teachers to master technology, as well as support from schools in providing adequate facilities. On the other hand, barriers related to a dense curriculum and time constraints are also factors that affect the effectiveness of implementing this approach.
